Creepy Crawly Folksy Friday

This week we have been under attack from various insects and birds.

We have ants nest everywhere outside, and the little pesks keep creeping in through cracks here and there. Whilst by hubby was sorting out traps, he was bitten by a ladybird. LOL. I didn't know they bit you. It came up in a lump. Then the birds came....... They're obviously looking for nesting places and keep trying to get into our eaves. So we prop up the long handled brush on the wheeley bin, just where they're trying to peck their way in. It acts a bit like a scarecrow.

So my folksy friday this week is creepy crawlies - insects and wriggly things. Just click the image to take find out more information on each item and see more gorgeous folksy goodies. Don't forget to click the 'back' button to bring you back to my blog.

Bunny long ears crochet pattern

At long last, after months and months of designing and testing, my new pattern is ready to be published. My latest design is for a cute little bunny, with a bag, carrot and scarf. Everything needed for fun adventures.

It started off quite small, but with the many changes along the way it's turn out a litte bigger and therefore easier to crochet.

I've also been working on a better way to write up my patterns, making them really clear and simple to follow. I'm happy with the result and will be using this technique for all of my patterns from now on.

Bunny long ears is about 25cm tall, from ear tip to toe and has bendy legs, so its nice and dangly. Its tail helps bunny long ears to sit up on its own. Bunny long ears comes with a little satchel and its very own carrot, just in case he or she gets a little peckish.

Your can buy this lovely pattern from my etsy shop here or my folksy shop here.

I am also selling a finished bunny long ears in my etsy gift shop here

Theme Park Folksy Friday

This week we enjoyed a great day out at Alton Towers. Armed with our free tickets from Teco Clubcard deals, we embarked upon a day of smiles, laughs and lots of screams. I even went on air and nemesis, and thoroughly enjoyed them. My husband and older children went on lots of other big rides, whilst I stayed with our youngest on the smaller rides. He just about sneaked on them, as he is really tall for his age. We picked a beautiful day - not too hot and we took our own picnic lunch, which we all enjoyed.

So my folksy friday this week is Theme Parks. Just click the image to take find out more information on each item and see more gorgeous folksy goodies. Don't forget to click the 'back' button to bring you back to my blog.
